This Season's Compost
We are doing something new this year to help provide even more diverse range of beneficial microbes. After screening the compost we are inoculating are finished windrows with a local Johnson/Su style compost to reintroduce biology that might be lost with multiple turnings/screening of the compost. We strive to provide the best compost we can that will help feed your soil with nutrients and biology. This is a list of inputs we used.
- Organic CRP Grass/Straw Hay
- Sheep/Cow/Horse manure with wood chip/sawdust bedding
- Sweet Corn, Onions, Hops
- Shredded hemp stocks
We only use straw and hay that have not been sprayed with herbicides or pesticides.
